In 2012, we bought a house that was in desperate need of structural repairs. We may have never considered buying a house with so many faults if it hadn’t been for Pam Atchison and Tom Huntley teaming up to bring a 203k loan to our attention. The process was painless in terms of paperwork and the details of working with a contractor to bring the property into compliance. Our house was made move-in ready within five weeks even with major renovations such as removing the fractured front porch, replacing the roof and much of the siding, repairing the cracked driveway, remodeling the master bath, installing new appliances, and more. The before and after pictures tell a dramatic story. Pam and Tom walked us through every step. If we had it to do over again, we wouldn’t hesitate.

Thanks for being a very important part of this process. I remember I initially contacted you last December, just really exploring if we would buy a house in California some day. You took the time and courtesy to inform me of the market in your area. You also kept in touch with me to see how we were doing on our timetable. When we were ready to purchase, of course we contacted you and you executed. Kudos to you and your professionalism.
Between you and Julie (lender), Dee and I could not have asked for a better team.

I interviewed several real estate agents and chose Pam because she really understood the subtleties of the housing market in my area. She priced my home perfectly — I felt that the price really reflected my home's value. My home sold in a week's time because it was priced correctly and because of Pam's intensive and great marketing. Pam also provided very thoughtful and useful advice on how to stage my home properly and this contributed to a quick and very smooth sale. I highly recommend Pam!

I started looking for a house as an investment in February, 2009. One of the houses I looked at was listed by Pam Atchison. I could not make a deal on that house, but I liked Pam. She patiently showed me perhaps 50 other listings over the next three months. These houses were located everywhere from Rohnert Park to Guerneville to Santa Rosa. I must have made 15 unsuccessful offers at or below the asking price during that time. I lost count. I became discouraged and almost gave up. Even though almost every house I made an offer on sold for over the asking price, and I refused to pay over the asking price, Pam continued to show me houses as patiently as ever.
Finally I made an offer on a tract house that appeared to be a great bargain at the asking price in June, 2009. I was delighted when the offer was accepted! Today, three days after the deed was recorded, I read a report in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat that said that a house located about half a block up the same street had sold for $330,000. I paid $189,900 ! While the house I bought was a "fixer-upper", I think that I got the major bargain I wanted.
Pam guided me through the escrow process. It was complicated because the house was a foreclosure and the bank that owned the house required that the transaction be closed through an escrow company in southern California. She protected my interests throughout this unfamiliar process and even retrieved the keys for me when the sale closed.
This recommendation is unsolicited. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Pam during this somewhat stressful time as well as the service I received from the people she works with. If I am in a position to buy a house again I will look up Pam Atchison.
i found pam through her website and was impressed that she seemed like a go-getter. little did i know that she also would be patient and listen so carefully to me.
Pam addressed my concerns with understanding as well as professionalism.
there was a point early on that she showed me she was on the ball where others had failed me.
we have become friends as i have found her compassion and heart have led her to be someone of good integrity whom i know truly cares about the outcome for her clients.
i work from a place of heart and integrity and found that in Pam as well.
we looked at many houses. she helped me dial in what i wanted and needed.. without pressure, just support.
i knew early on she would work hard for me.
she was on the ball the moment the house i was interested in fell out of escrow. she knew the moment it happened and acted instantly and i got a great deal with everything working out well on a bank owned property.
that was not an easy process but she helped me through it.
i write this because i truly know she is a rare gem who has and will continue to serve her clients with excellence,
